First post so please be gentle.. I have a 2009 TL SH-AWD Tech and last weekend I went out to start it (keyless entry/ignition), got in, hit start, and nothing happened. No lights on the dash, no "insert your fob", nothing. Before trying to insert the fob, I had my buddy try to jump it to no avail. Eventually I threw my fob in the slot and it started right up (with his jumpers still on the battery). I couldn't turn the radio on and the nav screen was dead too after I started it up. After extensively searching the AcuraZine forums, I've yet to see an issue similar to this. Neither the keyless entry/ignition not the radio work and when I try to go into the options for the "memory settings", it says there is no fob detected. I assume that the fob somehow got unlinked from the car even though it will still start when inserted in the slot. I also checked the accessory/keyless entry fuses and they all seem to be working as well. Im not the most mechanically inclined but I've taught my self to use a multimeter, read wiring schematics, and fix anything "nut and bolt" related. Any ideas on how to solve this without bringing it to the dealership? Thanx in advance.

 

Just shooting in the dark here.. Did you try the other Remote? Does the car unlock with the remote?

 

I'm having the exact same issue. First the overhead lights went out, then the HUD and now the car has no power (no power locks) unless the key is inserted and powered on to accessory mode. Anyone solved this?

 

Did you ever resolve this problem? I'm having the same one (nav and climate control screens black).

 

Yep, just figured it out this morning. Turns out the fuse for everything described is #15 in the engine bay. Its labeled "backup". I pulled that fuse originally thinking it was a "backup" or "spare" fuse. I WENT 7 MONTHS WITHOUT A RADIO/NAV/LOCKS/KEYLESS INGITION BECAUSE IM AN IDIOT. Hope that helps
