I have only had my 2010 TL AWD Tech car a few weeks and discovered an issue today. I can stream Pandora through BT audio no problem with my Iphone. When I plug the charging cord in to the USB connection, the music stops playing. When I unplug the phone, it comes back on. What am I missing on this?

 

I have this problem too. I only get audio when playing songs stored on the phone with the default music player. I can stream any audio via BT, but get no track info.

 

I do not have this issue with my 2009. Once I connect my iphone, I push the home button to close the music player. Then you bring up Pandora or whatever app you want to stream.

 

Really? Which iPhone do you have? Also, does track info come up on your screen?

 

I have the iphone 5. There is no track information except for iphone music player.

 

If I plug the wired USB plug from my console in my '12 TL to my iPhone 6 and click on BT, the audio screen display comes up as "iPod" and the track playing on Pandora shows up along with a small album cover of the disc being played. However, the tracks are displayed only one at a time, they are not cumulative. So, of the 3 track field displays on my audio screen, the first 2 simply say: Pandora, and the 3rd field shows the actual track being played.

I just can't recall if I was able to do this with my i5.
