Where did you find the DVD-A?

 

My sister in-law, bought the last one from 5.1 Marketing & Sales/online
Had to wait 2 months for it to arrive
They claim it was the "last" one
Pricy; $100
well worth the wait

 

Not bad for $100. Amazon sells it for over $300. Insane.

Such a shame that the high prices of these wonderful High Def music DVDs threatens to make the medium extinct rather than catching on in higher numbers

 

Aja is out on SACD (edit: it is not available on Hdtracks but Kamakiriad is http://www.hdtracks.com/kamakiriad )

SACD iso's to DVD-A using foobar and hdaudio solo will really make you appreciatte the ELS. Also there are studio quality 24/96 and 24/192 HDtracks (only 2.0 but sound phenomenal) available out there. I just grabbed the whole Grateful Dead album collection in 24/192.

 

The Japanese SACD of Aja is NOT 5.1, & is way overpriced
My $15 re-master, sounds almost as good
I'm ONLY interested in 5.1, but thx for the heads-up!
P.S. I have the DVD/A's of Workingman's Dead, & American Beauty; 5.1 baby!
