I have the same problem with my 2009 AWD Tech, using my iPhone 4. Also, sometimes it will advance to the next song and play, but not display the next song. Very erratic.

Happens to me on occasion as well. The fact that Acura never updates device support for us doesn't help much... as the OS on the devices continues to move forward it seems to get more and more erratic. More of a problem on the phones than on iPods, though. Sticking with an iPod that is close in age to the car helps some.

I don't even try to plug in my iPhone 5 with iOS 7, I just use Bluetooth.

I am a new owner of a 2010 TL.

I have noticed the exact same issue while using a iPhone 5 connected via USB.

However, a quick unplug-replug of the Lightning Connector (30-pin if using older iDevice) will fix the issue.

You can blame Acura for not updating device support as they should.

I've noticed using bluetooth will help avoid the problem.

Have also had the same issue on occasion. Also have had cases in which it forgot which playlist it was on. For the BT, I find it doesn't show any of the song info.

I had this issue a couple of times on my 2014 with an iPhone 4 running iOS 6.1.3. A disconnect and re-connect fixes things.
