How to turn off voice navigation?

The voice navigation can be really annoying when I'm on HFL or I simply do not want the voice from navigation.

The on screen indication some times is good enough...

Thanks!

Yes, I actually tried that and it serves the purpose. Just too many steps to get to it, it would be great if there is a shorter cut. Even voice command needs to be step by step...

Thanks.

no you just either gotta learn to deal with it or just completely shut it off..

honestly, to me you do not need it unless your completely incompetent. you just need to look at the screen when your using the gps.. it tells you how many ft or where to turn in writing.

i really hate listening to the navi because sometimes it can be very vague on where to turn and shit like that..

I had voice navigation in my CL and turned that off after maybe the first year (had the car for 9.5 years). I turned voice navigation off immediately in the TL. I really don't like it interrupting my music and if you've got someone else in the car and you're chatting or whatever, the voice prompts have the effect of suppressing conversation because no one wants to miss the voice prompts... So instead, just turn them off and keep an eye on the screen.
