How to replace stock subwoofer w/tech

I'm sure there are plenty of posts on here about how to replace my stock sub on my 2009 TL w/tech package, but the only info I can seem to find is for 3rd gen TL's and TSX's. Anyone know where I can find some info, or do you have info? Thanks.............

Did you blow it? Call the dealership bro! They should point you in the right direction! Hope that helps!

No, I didnt blow it, I just want something with a little more push. Not something crazy, or thumping. Just something a little more.

it sounds low and clean and does not take up much space, bass control still functions from the head unit.

How did you wire it?
Did you just disconnect the wire from the factory-woofer into the amplifier?

You can hook the wires from the factory sub to the amp as long as your amp is compatible with high-level speaker line outputs. If not you need a converter to a low-level.

Sounds like a PITA.
Has anyone a wiring-diagram of how the hookup should be like?

You have to pull power from the battery to the trunk and find a groud point for the amp as well. Pulling the power wire was a PITA - you have to follow the hood latch up into the fender well (remove fender liner on drivers side).

You can run the leads to your input off the speaker leads to the stock sub with a speaker to line level/rca converter box ($20 max). This allows your stock head unit's subwoofer volume controls to still work with the aftermarket unit properly.

There is a guy on here making an AWESOME enclosure box for the 4G unlike the ghetto setup above...but plan on a $350 speaker box.
