Since the songs have to be added by CD, I dont think you will be able to get them out of the HDD, you can only delete them. not 100% though

Simple answer
You can't, this is one of the reasons why I bought an iPod for this car

your SOL buddy. Next time store all your music on a USB stick. Much easier and far less time consuming. Sound difference is negligible.

I am not an audiophile, but I think HDD music sounds better than via USB. However, I'd like to try what DVD-A sound like, though.

As others have said the HD on the Acura is input only. If you plan on getting another TL or a car with a similar HD system get an IPod, so much easier to manage through ITunes and also is the only way to get album art on the display.

You had to put the music on there originally. What did you do with the CD's? Toss them?

Yup your only option is to erase only, as I found out before. Go with an ipod/mp3 player next time and you're good. The previous owner left all of their music on there and let's just say it was very old music, including some classical music lol (who was this previous owner and why would they driving a TL???)

Questioning why someone is listening to classical speaks volumes about you, not so much the previous owner.

Yeah, why would the TL ever be associated with classical music.
