I've got a 2011 TL SH-AWD Tech. How do I add a Note when I'm listening to XM? For those who don't know, the "Note" function lets you capture the text information of the name of song, title, artist, and XM station of a song you hear live and will also record 10 seconds of the song on the HD.

I see the audio options menu for "Note." But when I select that, there is nothing but empty space and no "Add" button. It seems that this empty space is used to list previously stored Notes.

i couldnt tell you without reading my owners manual...i thought you had to do something like hit the center button on the interface knob and hold it for a few seconds...

just looked it up, you push and hold the xm button for 2 seconds...then it stores the info...

Thanks! I'll try it out later today. I think the Note feature is really cool. My salesman said the car can store 30 Notes.

i havent tried it yet either, but would come in handy when i hear a song i want to put on my ipod...i always forget, my wife keeps a note pad in her car and whenever she hears something she likes, she writes it down...

I actually use the feature all the time! it helps when I hear that song i need to download or a comedian i need to youtube...very nice feature

Is this feature Tech only or on all models?

Keep a co-pilot in the right seat for these note taking needs. It is their job to obtain a weather briefing, plot a safe route for the flight and split duties with the captain.
