Has Anyone successfully installed Navtool on their 4g TL?

When installing, there re four harnesses. TWO of those harnesses have a red and black wire. Do I connect the red and black wires from one harness to the other? OR does one set of red and black hang loose while the other is plugged into a power source OR do is it just plug and play? PLEASE SEE IMAGE PROVIDED.

1 of the 4 wires is labeled ACC 12V INPUT which mean accessory switched 12V. That means 12V with car in accessory mode but engine off! I would contact navtool to verify because you don't want to fry such an expensive unit. Usually black is ground/negative.

thanks. I’m aware I f what ground and acc meant. My need is pretty specific. I’ve installed this thing so many times and I was stoned each time. Now I’m trying to do it sober and could t recall if I connected the four wires to one another. Hahaha smh. But I think that’s what I did. Because the black and red wire pulls power from the power that’s already running through Nav unit and flows it into the navtool u it. I’ll try this weekend.

as far as contacting Navtool for help? Obviously you haven’t ever tried that. That’s like asking trump to speak with compassion, or asking soemone to change their race - it’s just an impossible feat.

2012 ACURA TL With NAV, I have the latest version of Navtool. Newest hardware. I think the way I installed it before I had to remove it, I simply connect the red and black from the 32 pin harness to the red and black wires on the harness that plugs into the navtool. Thoughts?

I just installed mine last week. The red and black from the Radio Harness go to the Red and Black on the Navtool Module Harness. Red is Accessory 12V+ Power and Black is Ground. The Orange wire on the 16 pin harness behind the radio is the reverse signal wire on the 2009-2011 TL. and the Orange Wire on the 28 pin harness behind the radio is the reverse signal wire for the 2012 and later TL. The orange reverse signal wire from behind the radio (depending on the year of the car as I just mentioned) goes to the orange wire on the Navtool Module that is labeled "Reverse input". (Note that there is another orange wire on the navtool module with a different label, don't get them confused). If you do not connect the Orange Reverse signal wire correctly, everything else will work, but when you shift the car into reverse, the reverse distance lines will scroll constantly across the screen from left to right.

In the end, you will only splice three wires, red, black, and orange. All other wires can be ignored.

Scrolling lines on Android auto navtool

Hello, has anyone corrected the scrolling vertical lines in the screen when using Android auto.... not when it's in reverse, I'm saying all the time. Even on the menu screen?
