Hi all,

Has anyone used this phone (Thunderbolt) in this car with success? I know this phone is not listed in the verizon compatable phone list; but some people have been using other unlisted phones without problems. Thanks.

 

My understanding is that this phone is very similar to the HTC EVO. I have the EVO and it works beautifully with the new TL. Just try using the pairing instructions for the EVO or maybe one of the other Verizon Droid phones.

 

So this phone did pair with no problems.

The phone book will not synch (neither did my old bb tour),

The acura link will not work.

Bluetooth audio works for streaming sirius or pandora etc.

 

I have a thunderbolt and it successfully paired with the bluetooth for a month, then mysteriously stopped working. It continues to link media, but i cannot make or receive phone calls

 

I just got the Thunderbolt and mine hooked up fine and the phonebook as well. The first time i tried it didn't work but i turned the car off and back on and it worked. so give it a few tries.

 

Can confirm pairing and phonebook sync with no issues. AcuraLink over LTE no issues -- Acura Link over eHRPD (3G hand down) no issues. -- Pittsburgh Metro Area.

I'm also a Thunderbolt owner. Phone on HFL, and Bluetooth audio streaming over car stereo works great with my 2009 TL Tech SH-AWD. Phonebook transfer did work, but took about 20 minutes and did not transfer all of my 1,100+ contacts.

 

Confirming Droid X2 and Bionic... I know these arn't out yet, but andsets are trialed prior to release.

 

Hi all
I just bought a 07 acura tl. I'm having trouble importing my contacts into my phonebook. It looks like on ny navi I have a phonebook but the icon is not lit and can't access. Is that different then the phonebook on the steering wheel controls? I have a Verizon thunderbolt.
