1) Do i need to store the phone book entries in the HFL system , can the system dial directly from my phonebook in my cell phone? When i say dial it cant recognize the contact name and i thought it will pickup the name from my cell phone

2) Can the phonebook from phone be displayed in the HFL system automatically, in my BMW the names comes on the car as is in my phone

You have to save it in the car phone book and tag a voice name for that person. You can get the number straight from the phone from the car. Well that how I did it so I hope this help you.

If i understand correctly you need to store contacts in the car seperately than the contacts in the phone, there is no way to show all contacts from phone in HFL

Thats right. You have to import your phonebook from your phone to the car. Then you can view your contacts and dial from your car. You have to sync them manually.

No Navi no import, however, if you have a decent phone (they all vary), you can set the HFL system to receive a contact via Bluetooth and send a contact via Bluetooth from the phone, this works very well and is MUCH quicker than reading each number into the system, and much less error prone.
