Dial command not working

I am driving a service loaner 09 TL for this entire week starting today and I setup the bluetooth. I can't say dial ###-###-#### like I used to with my 3g TL. Am I something wrong?

I think you need to hit the 'phone' icon first, followed by the 'talk' icon.

No, I think usaf2008 is right. The voice commands are different in the 2009. You now need to hit the "off hook" button to go to the phone page, then you need to hit the "talk" button and say "dial" then you can say the digits. I'm not sure if you have to hit the talk button a second time to actually say the digits; I'll try that tomorrow and report back.

I really love the 2009, but I do think the basic talk commands on my old 2005 3G were easier and more intuitive....

Acura, can you guys think about streamlining the HFL voice commands for the next software update? I'd like to be able to hit the talk button (not the off-hook button) and say "dial ###-###-####" as well as "dial <voice tag>". Extra credit if I could say "dial <phone book name>" and the system would do a speech to text conversion (like for City and Street) and display matching phonebook entries.

Thanks,

-- Dave
