Bluetooth Phonebook Import Issue

Ok, this is a really bizzare issue and I will try to give as much information as possible. Excuse me if I run too long with this.. I have TL-Tech 2010. When I got the car I imported my phonebook and didnt have any trouble (about 150 contacts). I have a T-Mobile Vibrant (Android).

Over time I have updated many contacts and went to reload with a new import so i first deleted the old phonebook and went to reimport. When I did this I got a message (and i dont remember the exact verbatim message), but the acura would only import 15 records saying too many to import. I removed a bunch of records and tried again but it keeps stopping at one record which I have looked for In outlook but i cant find it called "MYINFO000000" This is where the problem is and I dont know how to get around it. I just want to be able to import my phone again. Is there a trick? I dont know why it worked one time then only 15 records.

Any ideas??

TMO BB 9700 Phonebook import

I have an '09/TL/Tech
I also constantly update my phonebook
Currently have 187 contacts; names, #'s, cell #'s, etc.
I NEVER delete the old phonebook; just import the updated version; it'll keep the prior, & add the new; try it
BTW: After I upgraded the OS to 6.0, the Acuralink works perfectly

trouble with phonebook import

i have a 2009 TSX - in the past i have imported my phone book two or three times - i never delete the old one expecting it to just add a new one by date - but, no matter what - it always deletes the old one anyway without my sayso. sigh - i learned to live with this since it seemed to be able to import my entire new phonebook fairly well.
i get lots of new numbers frequently in my business and need to be able to update the phonebook in the car - very annoying - in the past few days - i have kept the car running for a about 30 minutes (that is about how long it seems to take) attempting to import a new phonebook.... - at the end of that (have done it three times now) - i get a message that it "encountered an error while loading and if any contacts are missing i should try again"
for whatever reason - all of my family members who have the same last name as i do are blocked from being uploaded into the phone book - they were always there before! this is bizarre.
my hubby has a bmw - his current car and even his OLD bmw automatically update the phone book every time he turns the car on - this is as it should be.
acura technology is really disappointing with this hands free link phone book thing - any suggestions?
please email me directly as well

thanks.

Something that can throw people is that they accidentally have several contact lists in their phones.

The original poster mentioned Outlook. So it's possible he has a contact list on his phone, but he also has a contact list on an Exchange server that has "pushed" itself onto his phone.

The last time I imported the phone book to my TL, I discovered hundreds of contacts I didn't expect to be imported. The car had grabbed the phone's regular phone book, an Exchange server contact list, and my MobileMe contact list and put them all onto the car.

I'm still curious as to the OS upgrade that the CPR mentioned.
