Bluetooth phone volume

What controls the paired phone's volume as heard thru the car's sound system? I need to raise it a bit relative to other sources' volume.

Phone volume

2 choices; steering wheel volume control, or dash volume control

Depending on your device, you may be able to control the volume from it.

I know on my iPhone 3G, when I first paired it and was making the first call, the volume was way too low, even using the vehicle volume control. I only was able to get a decent level by increasing the volume on the iPhone, then re-adjusting the vehicle volume.

X2... I have a BB Storm though. At first I had to turn the car volume up to 40 before realizing that on my BB it remembers the last setting used for whatever function you are in. While on a call turn your car volume down to like 10 or 15, then increase the volume on your phone until you get the loudness you are looking for. Once you have the volume set on your phone and the car, the next time you send or receive a call it will be at the level you last used and you will then be able to control the volume using the car. This also works for the A2DP and USB connection. Well at least that is how it works for me.
