Angry Audio Display

Just used my CD player for the first time today. Put in a DVD-A disc, which of course sounded great, but there was no Artist, Album or Song title information displayed. It only showed "Track 01" etc. Is this problem unique to me?

So far, only Toy Matinee has shown up in the display. Kind of sad, I know. I miss the Kenwood player I had in my '08.

Artist, song title and album info only works for DTS audio discs.

That's odd and really disappointing because that information was displayed in my '06 RL.

Guys, actually that information is placed by the artists/recording studio/record label. I'm surprised myself that more artists don't do this....

I've had several cars now with DVD-A players. The information has never shown up on any of my cars. It's always surprised me that a basic CD shows the info but DVD's don't.

This isn't a problem with the hardware (assuming it supports reading the index), it mostly depends on whether the track index is included on the disc when it's pressed.
