Has anyone successfully installed an aftermarket stereo into a Tech or Advance TL? How did you keep your climate control display?

 

If your planning on install aftermarket DVD om Nav model. To retain the climate function, keep the stock Display screen where it is. You will need to purchase a mounting braket if your screen are anything other than 7in unit. "Eventhough Honda makes the audio frame on their cars looking different with each models. All there unit are same size, so if u got one from a different honda. The bracket will fit. It a matter of how creative you plan on modifying it. " or buy aftermarket to make life easy. You aftermarket unit will mount below the stock Nav Display where the Huge button is locate.. The climate harness and Nav harniess are independet with ea other. just ziptie the Nav harness to something sturdy and you will b fine. I can't go in any more details since idk what unit u will use, or what your project idea is. Hope that answer your question.
