Aftermarket stereo HELP!

Hey everyone, I have a 2009 Acura Tl SH AWD.

I want to install an aftermarket double din stereo. Possibly the Pioneer AVHX4600BT 7-Inch USB Bluetooth Hi-Volt Pandora DVD Player. Is there any way of installing this and keeping all my functions I had previous, such as steering wheel controls functional, and the ports inside the middle arm rest will still be pluged. I know those are easy if the after market stereo have ports for it to install itself. How will this work with the whole Bluetooth and everything, have anyone done this and got those functional? I really want a double din stereo but keep that Stock car feel. If you know anyone dont this before please direct me to them. Thank you!

It will not work. The OEM HU cannot be removed and keep all of the functionality. I recommend searching threads to see what others have done.

I have the 2012 non-tech version and currently in the process of installing the pioneer 8000nex. This is one of the major reasons why i opted for the non-tech version for a cheaper price. I hope it works out for you

IMO, you should keep the factory HU and just pick up a screen to mount with a carputer. Take the signal from the factory HU and send it to an audio processor like a JL cleansweep or JBL processor, then to your amps and new speakers.

IMO the integration from the factory is very indepth with the HU and the navigation system.

You could use one of those PAC modules to retain the steering wheel controls, and you can usually wire up the inputs from the center console into an aftermarket radio.

Like I said, it's easier to keep the factory HU and do everything else. IMO I'd invest in some sound deadener first.
