Adding extra cameras on your TL?

I was considering adding additional cameras to my TL for a number of reasons.

Safety: I could have a toggle switch where I could see on both my sides, front and rear, even top of the roof while driving to see whats around me. Obviously thru the Nav screen up front. I think this one is important.

Theft: If someone touched your car, the cameras would turn and video who's around your call. All the cameras.

I know you can get those surveillance cameras at costco for a few hundred bucks, has anyone else looked into this?

wow... the only camera I thought of adding was for the front bumper... to help prevent my wife from cracking the car in front of me. Sounds like you're gonna be the Google Street View car riding around! :-)

no it wouldn't. It would attract them. They would steal your cameras. Starting to think this is a BS thread!

Eazyrider driving a vehicle is hazardous to everyone's health. He's too busy getting TL derived pussy and changing lanes without looking.

I didn't have the stock intake on my TL long enough to be able to tell if the SRI made a difference. However, I am not one to argue with people who know a hell of a lot more about cars than I do. I would love to see before and after dynos though (if it were possible).

With that said, the sound is ridiculous and worth the $$$ IMO. If I could do it again, I would.

I test drove the new accord... it has 3 camera angles for backing up and one mounted on the passenger mirror. It was pretty sweet.

I bet the TLX will have more cameras
