2009 TL amplifier wiring path?

I have a self-powered sub from a previous car I'd like to put in the trunk of my new 2009 TL. Anybody found a good pathway to run amplifier wiring direct from the battery?

I will be looking into this soon (like this Sunday maybe). I have a 4 gauge wire going from the battery to the trunk soon. I'm looking to go through an existing grommet if I can.

6-8 inches to the left of the brake/ brake booster there is a cutout in the insulation on the inside. Plenty of room for drilling a hole. Make sure you get a rubber grommet from the auto store first.

Ok, Got my amp wire and remote turnon lead run from the front of the car to the back. 17 feet of 4 gauge for the fatboy. I ran everything down the drivers side. Put a hole in the firewall to the right of the brake booster looking at the booster from the engine side. Insterted a grommet i picked up from tractor supply. Snaked the lead down the drivers side with the main wireharness all the way into the back. The door sills all snap it and you can pull them up with your fingers. It was easier than i thought it would be.

Not to figure out how to get the back deck off. Fun fun.....

The bracket that holds the spare tire has two holes in the bracket that allow for a bolt and a lock nut which will accommodate a ground wire nicely.

Where did you tie your remote lead into? I just ran my 12V main wire but I could not find an ACC fuse in the fuse box for my remote wire. Everything seems to stay hot even when the car is off. I would rather have the amp turn on with the car instead of installing a switch that I have to remember to turn off.

#18 fuse is a 7.5 accessory. I put a 10amp in that and soldered the wire to the fuse. The fuses for this car are shorter than the mini fuses so I had room to solder a wire. This is temporary until I get a chance to see how the manufacture did it with their amp, I want to unravel that mess eventually and wire it up the right way.

Ahh. I totally missed the fuse box on the drivers side. I was looking at the one on the passenger side. Good to go now. You are right, these smaller fuses are harder to tap.

I believe it is the light green wire coming out of the stock amp on the non NAV setup on a SH-AWD. Go to Acura to get a copy of the schematics for free.
