Lightbulb XM poor reception - POLL

I know there are a bunch of threads about this. I want to fix my issue and have it look factory.

Please tell me what year TL you have and if you have poor XM reception or not.

I want to purchase a new antenna from another model year to see if that resolves my issue.

Thanks for your help

No issues for me except for the very large oak tree in my front yard. Sometimes (depends on time of day because the satellite location does vary) I don't get a signal in my driveway.

No poll on this thread but I have a 2012 and reception is perfect unless I'm underneath something.

See my other post in the audio/bluetooth section. Basically only have had occasional short cut-outs recently but mostly where you would expect (under freeway overpass).

I saw those posts. The only resolution I saw was to place another antenna on the roof. I don't want to do that. I want the OEM one to work or I want to replace it with another year that I know works. I had no issues with my 2006 TL. XM was flawless.. No more warranty so...

2014 and mine works fine, same with my wife's 2016 RDX. It does have minor cut outs sometimes but that seems to be normal. Drove my brother-in-laws 2016 Camry and it did the same thing. It's not the car, it's the reception.

I have a 2012 SH AWD without the Tech package and XM sounded worse than AM radio when I got the car. Washed out and dull, but with consistent reception. I just let it expire.

I have 2013 FWD Tech. I got no signal if I am under a roof, bridge, inside building, etc.

2010 AWD Tech. No issues except highway overpasses, etc.

I have a 2009 TLN Tech and XM reception is OK. It's not great. Newer cars will record the XM signal so it is buffering audio so it won't miss a beat.
