Would you purchase Oil Consumption Test Fix car? (Advice needed)

Seen a 2010 TL AWD with low mileage which had the oil consumption test fail and fix made under the recall

1. would you consider buying such a car?

2. does acura warranty the fix?

3. i read the fix tsb, is this basically now a rebuilt engine? Would you touch it?

any help/advise would be great

It seems Acura does a good job fixing them. I had mine fixed for oil consumption and it feels really strong and smooth, truely enjoyable to drive. I haven't exactly been able to put that many miles on it due to working from home (about 4000km) since the rebuild. But so far it has not burnt any oil at all.

Agreed ^

Got mine done from Acura, also did the timing belt/water pump as well at the same time. Car has been running smooth, no oil is being burnt anymore.

Yeah, just make sure the timing belt and waterpump was done, and check for regular leaks, etc.
