It would have been more difficult for me. I would have been torn between a TL and a fully loaded Avalon.

i'd love to see that report if you have it handy. i've been curious to improve my perception of domestics after having so many issues myself and in my family in the past

I dont know how far these reports go back, but I recently traded in a 2010 Camaro 2SS with 68k on it because it was a NIGHTMARE. I loved that car, loved it. However for daily driving purposes it's overall reliability was SUBpar. I understand its maybe more suited for weekend duties, but I was not impressed with the first 68k worth of problems. GM service is also subpar.

I think it was on MSN yesterday and was an article by consumer affairs. I looked for it earlier, but didn't have much time. I will look for it again tomorrow.

For what it matters I currently have a 2009 Vette and a 2013 SHO, neither have given me a single problem whatsoever. I had a 2012 Ford Edge that I traded in for my TL. The edge had 27k miles and was a complete nightmare, two replaced power steering pumps,

Wow - 2 power steering pumps in the first 27K miles! Was there a recall on them from Ford?

On the pump no, but on the hose yes, that went twice, along with the fuel pump once, fuel lines were recalled, the power seat broke twice. The interior lights all went out from a bad ground that melted wires and the fuse never blew. There were some other numerous things.

Good grief. Was there any possibility of lemon-law'ing it in NJ?

It has to be 3 times and under 24,000 miles, which is BS.

A - Absolutely for me too. While I miss the SH-AWD at times, I love the extra 6 MPG I get now. Only had it since April, but I still find myself staring at it for it's cool style, and love that I see no other vehicles with the same style out there.
