Window tinting... looking for ideas

Spots look normal to me. They look like water spots from the application process to me...water gets trapped between the film and glass. If that is indeed what they are, they will go away once the film has fully cured. The climate will determine how long this takes. It can't hurt to point it out to the installer now, but I don't think a week is enough time for the film to cure for this time of the year...the water has to evaporate.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to get a perfect film application unless your tint is installed in a vacuum. There will likely be a few specks of dust or other particles in the air trapped between the film and window here and there but it has been my experience that installers do their best to minimize them. The "spots" will be extremely small though and everyone with an aftermarket tint has them.

Is it worth getting ceramic (or any tint for that matter) if my state only allows 50% all around? I was quoted about $370 for ceramic, which seemed kinda high for 50%.
Another question, do you think I would get hasseled if I went to 40% or even 35%?

Not at all, in fact many people do 20% in the rear and a more legal 35% in the front. Looks great from when I've seen it.

It's pretty common here in California since tinting the front windows is illegal but people still want some heat rejection up front. I think it looks weird and my installer advised me not to go that route but maybe you can pull it off.

GA law is 35% tint...and law enforcement has been know to make you remove your tint on the spot. I went with Platinum to bring out the metal flakes in the Grigio paint (Umber interior). Grace is an '09 TL SH-AWD TECH PKG W/HPT. I also use a heat shield because I park in an uncovered parking lot and the summer heat in GA is fierce! Check it out...she needs a bath though.

Thanks, overcast day at the airport in Columbia, SC. But the metallic in the tint at certain anlges does look darker than it is. Back in the day I had a Dodge Conquest TSI (Mitsubishi Starion) It was Black/Gray leather with limousine tint a gradual tint front the bottom of the windshield up...I got pulled over every time I came home to GA. But I was stationed at Ft. Worth, TX. I have to admit, in those Texas thunderstorms it was hard seeing out the side windows at times.
