Wind Noise?

I have a 2010 TL that I purchased back in September and I have noticed a lot of wind noise. I took it to the dealer who claim they didn't notice any (Though I could hear it on the test drive with the technician) but checked the door seals just to be safe.

This generally starts around 45 mph and gets louder from there.

Is this something others have noticed or do I possibly have something with mine that I should pressure the dealer into looking at in more detail?

Thanks!

with regards to wind noise, the TL is one of the quietest cars I've been in. Both the SHAWD and Base models i've had, had amazing wind noise supression. Road noise is another story.

For reference, wind noise supression on the Audi A5 is quite poor and noticeable above 60mph, though road noise was better dampened.

Mmm The road noise hasn't been an issue but at speeds above 45 I keep thinking the window is cracked a little. I guess time to take it back up there to them.

Nah when I said road noise, I meant when going over rough surfaces / bumps.

I hear a bit of wind noise on the drivers window at 75+ - but nothing too bad.

Darrena,

Tell us more about your TL. Anything aftermarket on it? Splash guards? Body kit? Tinting? Paint protection?

In other words, is yours stock out of the factory or is there something that might be hanging out in the breeze?

How many miles on your TL? Do you notice the sound coming from any particular direction in the car?

Completely stock, no changes since I purchased it from the lot.

Thank you!

8000 miles and it sounds like it is coming from the window on the driver side. It sounds like the window is just slightly cracked but it looks flush.
