Why no bright red color option?

have you seen the red paint available on the TSX special edition? why the heck don't they make the TL with that color? I can't believe there are two brown options but no red.

Probably because the consultants who predict color trends for fashion and brand management said 'earth' colors were going to be popular during the 4G life-cycle.

You may think I'm kidding. But I'm not:

Mayan bronze is a sexy color, I'm not sure if I'd get it for myself but I like it.

luckily the 1st gen. tsx offered the milano red with 6MT and nav. It was great they bought that color back but it would have been even better if it had tech.

If there was no royal blue pearl I'd have different colored 4G TL. but for some reason Acura stopped making this color after 2010.

How did you make that TL red? You are killing me...this is the car I want: a red TL with black rims

Finding real "colors" on a TL is almost as rare as finding hen's teeth. Even the Lexus ES is gutsier in their colors than the overly conservative whites, blacks and greys that were pretty much all I saw when browsing the Acura lots.

That's one thing nice about doing custom order European vehicles, especially with Audi.

Audi buyers can order any colour choice that is currently available from the Audi manufacturer, even across platforms and models, for extra charge of course.

For example, a new A3 buyer can pay extra dollar to order the red colour choice, that is only available standard on the R8 colour chart.

I think colors are chosen based on the class of the car. Since Acura aims the TL to a more mature crowd they offer the classical black white or silver. They should still at least offer something bright for other demographics to consider the car.

Milano red would not look right on the TL, but I'd much rather have a Redondo Red Pearl or Moroccan Red Pearl from the 3G TL than the Basque Red. I don't understand why Acura/Honda no longer offers another pearl red. The only reds they have are a cherry/burgundy color.
