While it's raining...
is it normal for me to hear water flowing inside the door jams between the front and rear driver's side door? I've never heard this on my BMW. Thanks.

I guess it would depend on the structural design of each. Hearing the water isn't a bad thing as long as the seal does it's job. If you look at the gap between the doors, water can run in there. As for hearing it.. it must really be raining hard! Are you sure the sound is coming from between the doors?

I know what you are talking about. If it rains while I am at work the water will bead on the roof of the car. When I leave the driveway is at a slope and I can hear what sounds like running water going through the channels in the car. It is normal but I guess I never really pay it much attention or consider it an inferior design.

Yes! I notice this while driving on the freeway at a moderate 65-70 mph, I can hear water running somewhere in the area of B-Pillar and the top of driver's side front window...feels weird like water is about to come inside or something. Just wanted to know if it's normal.
P.S. Ohh my windows are all the way up.

B pillar noise? I never noticed because the stereo is to loud most of the time. Could be drain tubes for the sunroof.
