2 weeks ago...on a rainy friday evening....
around 1 30am...

i was going down on hwy heading home...at 90 mph...

then i found myself tailgating a crusing flash blue SLK 320 and suddenly he just blew away!!

i tried to catch him and SS to 3rd...but it was amost 100mph so i hanged into 4th...

we both floored it and we were going 125mph as we had to slow down coz it was raining...

it was kinda fun....the SLK320 reallie can pull away from 100mph...it has the weight advantage...

but i won't try it again next time...it was too dangerous to drive that fast in wet weather...

 

Don't they also have superchargers??

 

only the 230 had supercharger, the 320 is SOHC V6 had 215hp.
yea, those 320 is faster than a TL-P on hwy, coz my dad used to have a 00 CLK320. I drove it alot and feel the car had better pull than my TL on 60mph-up. and 0-60 times is almost same as TL. like .3 to .5 sec slower. And CLK320 run smoother than my 3.2TL.

the SLK is almsot 1000lb lighter than our 3700lb TL...

so it wasn't too bad if i could catch up with him rite?

 

yea I got a 2002TLS and my bro has a 2001SLK320, he kills me everytime on the freeway. Off of a light, he gets a good half to 3/4 car length on me by 60. The 320 is no joke, on the other hand, u can smoke 230's all day long (at least in the city), never raced on on the freeway.

 

The SLK 32 AMG is a monster. Don't even try this one, even if you have F/I mods in your car.

SLK 320 ... maybe. If you are crazy enough, you'll probably win. But, you'll have to break about every law out there at the same time.

SLK 230, have fun w/ these cars. Mostly driven by chicks ... so you may not want to pass them too fast. W/ all these mods in your TLs, pimp a little.

 

Why would you do that kind of speed in the rain.

 

I doubt anything made by Mercedes except that 2 seat econorotbox weighs under 3000lbs.

hmmmm, i raced my friends slk320 half a year ago and we were dead even. I got a tlp h/i/e...Maybe he just sux at driving

 

samkws: BTW, not only are US BMWs limited, the SLK320 weights in at around 3100lbs. Not 2700 as posted above "the SLK is almsot 1000lb lighter than our 3700lb TL..."

Also, there are no bad MB drivers. They are all automatics, just put the pedal to the metal and that's all.
