drive belts squeak sometimes

Its been number of times, when I hear this short and very distinct squealing/whistling noise from somewhere under the hood. (No, its not the humming noise you get from ABS when you start driving). Sounds like one of the belts (don't know which) is making this noise(whistle). This is more likely to happen when its raining... almost like whater is on the belts...
Does anyone else expirence something like that?
The problem is that its very rare... and not consistent.

Use some of the STP belt dressing spray $1.99. It only stop the noise for like a day or two.

Is it water on the belts? Or its an early sigh that its time to replace some of the belts.

I have the same problem and I'm at 21.5K miles. Maybe it's time to tighten or replace some belts. I took it in and the dealer wants to have it overnight to look and see what it might be.

It's just mosture on something not a big deal,, the drive belt has a tensioner that keep every thing tight. My belt still looks good and as long as everything is working there is not a problem with a little slippage making a noise. If it gets worst then look into fixing it.
