What is the most upscale interior color?

What do you think?

- Ebony (FWD and SH-AWD)?
- Parchment (FWD only)?
- Taupe (FWD only)?
- Taupe/ebony (SH-AWD only)?
- Umber/ebony (SH-AWD only)?

I finally saw the umber in person, wow that's all I can say. Not a good wow, or a bad wow, just plain old wow. IT'S FRICKIN' PUMPKIN COLOR!!! LOL. Definitely an acquired taste, like caviar or something.

I think umber looks great, but it is a very polarizing interior: either you love it or hate it. And my GF hates it. Ebony is the next runner up, I think it is more broadly acceptable.

is the link above to umber a real rep of the color?

I love ebony but...

Doesn't taupe also show lots of dirt too, since it's so very light?

Does the Umber color look anything like that orangey brown color that the 3G TL used to offer in the first year or so? What was that called again? Why was it discontinued?

I think the best combo would be parchment + Ebony, ebony carpets, headliners and pillars with parchment seats, looks

but if we are talking stock colors, the ebony, it makes the TL look a whole lot better on the inside, plus the leather won't kill itself like in the leather in my MDX.....

I had ebony in my TSX and now my 4G. In the summer, I used a sunshield on the front window and used the fob to open all the windows to let the heat out before entering the car. It definitely helped and the car cooled down pretty fast with the AC cranked up.
