Is VIN or a serial # on the 3.7 engine?

Is VIN or a serial # on the 3.7 engine?
I see there is a block code of J37A4 but does anyone know if the VIN is stamped somewhere on the engine? If not the VIN is there a separate serial number stamped somewhere? Thanks!
