TLX or GS F Sport

Just wondering what you guys think about the GS F Sport? Every time i see one on the road i can't help but stare especially the Grey, black or white model. I have yet to test drive one, but have played around with the tech and the interior is nice when i checked one out at the Car Show. If the TLX turns out not to be an interest to you would you consider an F Sport? I love my TL but it's just something about that damn F Sport.

why are people brand loyal?

if a car speaks to you or has value TO YOU, purchase or lease it!

I'd take the GS F-Sport any day. That car is beautiful and just simply magnificent in every way. Unfortunately, it's wayyy out of my price range. Maybe in 4 years... when I want to sell my TL.

Personally I think the gs fsport looks amazing. If you search a member on here recently traded his TL for one and posted some photos and his thoughts on the car.

correct.
so if the new F-sport speaks to you, dump the acura and get the GS!!!!

personally, where I am in life, I cant afford to dump cars.
I bought my used 3rd gen TL with the intentions of keeping it for 10+ years.
you either stick with your decision, or you dump it for the car that YOU want, sacrificing your debt.

I can't afford to dump cars just like that either. The car I have now is the car I wanted with no regrets, I am just saying that when the new GS came out I really liked it visually. I have yet to drive one or ride in one.

These two cars are in very different size and price classes.

The TLX will be more of a competitor with the IS rather than the GS.

either man up and take on the debt or keep the acura.
unless you are leasing, then you can afford to change cars every 3 years

LOL man up???, you always have some smart ass remark reply to people threads on here. Look, like i said I love my TL and don't have any regrets buying it I just really admire the GS-F and I am sure you feel the same way about a particular car since you say you are a car enthusiast as I am as well. This thread was simply to see how people feel about the GS-F that's it

The GS F-sport is a very nice car. The interior is just beautiful - very upscale and well-designed. I would be very happy owning one. It just is not as sporty as I had expected. Anyway, if the TLX turns out not to be the car for you, go for the GS F-sport!

and people are going to either
A) LOVE IT!
B) HATE it!

some people are not going to be able to afford it, while some can.
it's so subjective that you can go either way.

okay, so we talk about the cool features. then we lament on how lame Acura is.
then it goes back and fourth....

turns out the TLX will not have the aggressive rear end we saw in the concept.

GS f sport is in a different class. Price and size wise. I love what Lexus has done to turn their "grandpa" persona around. I've been drolling over the IS 350 F Sport for a few months. I've been working out the numbers but it just wouldn't make sense to get rid of my 11 month old TL.

I will probably pull the trigger when Lexus introduces a new engine. Rumors are there for redesigned v6 down the road.

I'll take the TLX over the GS-F if the TLX came with a 6MT and AWD. But I'll take an S5 over both of them anyday lol. That will prolly be my next car in 5 years. Right now though, I'm content on my 4G that I absolutely adore.

The gs f sport looks sharp. In fact I was so close buying an isf thus past year. Financially it was but the greatest move like people have said the debt want worth it at this stage in life. The 4g tl was my backup plan and it has really grown on me so much. I grow to love the car more and more each day. You should wait and see how the tlx is then get the one that fits what you want.by then you can get an awesome deal on a lightly preowned one.
Having dumped cars three times I dont think I ever want to go brand new. The depreciation isnt worth it.

I agree if you are shopping for a durable car you want to keep for a long time the optimal move is lightly used.
