technician malpractice?

I had a tire rotation at the store; then I drove the car for a couple of miles and got a flat! (the tire is ruined because I was on the highway and took me a while to stop). They found some small, old-looking hole (no pins or anything); however I think they did something wrong during the rotation, causing it to deflate... any thoughts? I mean, what are the odds of getting a flat within minutes after leaving the tire shop?!

What store? Anything with that quick of a flat is usually negligence on their part, usually, and most businesses will take it back and replace the tire. Did they not take care of it already?

Flats happen, might be their fault and it might not

F&F tire. They said this is the hole and you got it after you left us; which I doubt. I am trying to understand what they could have done during a rotation, that might cause it to deflate? it is(was!) a Yokohama with only 5000 miles on it.

How do you know it was the techs. You could be driving around with a nail or screw in the tire and rotating the tires just casued it to be shifted and now leak. Hell when I had dealer do my 3G tires they found the screw in it and told me it woudl likely casue a probelm, too bad it was the sidewall and cost me almost $300 to replace the stock Michelin. Now I buy hazard insurance on them so if I get that again it does not cost me anything

I doubt that a simple tire rotation would damage a tire. My guess is that you ran over something.
