What's the safest method to take off this strip without messing up the paint

There are several good instructional videos on Youtube on how to remove pinstripes. Just search and they should come right up. It should be pretty easy to remove from what I've seen.

place your car under the sun for couple hours and peel it. it comes off easily

Thats what I had thought about to. But what if maybe even using a heat gun or something like that.

Pinstripes aren't bad to remove, if they are relatively new. Sitting in the heat, using a heat gun, and peeling a small piece up with your nail should work. If it is a few years old, it may break into small pieces and take forever.

Someone mentioned a plastic razor blade, which sounds great but I never found out. Goo gone and rubbing alcohol will remove the residue but be sure to wax over it.

I peeled my 3G's off and I can't imagine they take the time to pain them on like RR or something. I guess some dealers could have someone paint them but I doubt it.

I looked around their lot about a month ago to check out the Civic Si, and ALL their new vehicles were pinstriped
