Sh-awd

I heard that there is difference in appearance between BASE and SH-AWD.

I thought the upgraded interior leather comes with Tech package, not SH-AWD.

What are the different appearances that SH-AWD has compared to base?

Take a look at the brake vents on the front end of the SH-AWD, the Base has reflectors. Other than that the optional 19-inch, 5-split-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels.

And the simulated quad tip exhaust.

Go to http://www.acura.com/Features.aspx?m...modelYear=2010, and you can look at all of the differences between the two models

Check out the fog light area at the front, and the different rims. I still cannot believe that they chose those undersized and rather unattractive 17" rims for the base TL.... for 2011 model and beyond, please give the base TL more attractive and appropriately sized rims!!!

I agree, 17" look tiny for the size of the car. But having talked to female owners they are fans of the Base with 17" and 18" rims....yeah.

BUT...the main reasons to buy the SH-AWD are the engine size, wheel size, and SH-AWD = WAY better handling and performance.

That is why for 2010 they offered the base car with the AWD 18" wheels as a $1K option. What sucked was it further blurred the line between the base and AWD. I loved my Type-S becaause at a glance you knew it was a Type-S, witht he 4G now other than brake ducts and exhaust tips it is hard to tell base from AWD at a glance.
