Price for 2014 TL Advance?

I have a 2012 AWD Tech Umber that I want to sell/trade for the same color Black/Umber but in Advance AWD. I should have pulled the trigger on the Advanced in 2012 but didnt want to spend the extra $$$. Now I am going to pay for it!

What should I expect to pay, I live in the DFW area Texas.

Thanks!

Are you sure that you want to pay way extra money just for "advance"? Spending extra $$$ for the same car basically. I think it's not a good idea.

If you are really really want it, try to consider switching to Audi at least.

Just my opinion amigo

Start at truecar.com. also see if there are any 2013's on the lot for even larger savings. True car is saying $42,347 so I'd start there. Email the dealers and get the price locked down. Then worry about your trade.

I would understand if you had 2012 TL FWD without Tech. I recommend you to wait for RLX hybrid, new TLX or other companies.

I have an AWD Black Umber Technology. My issue is that I want the AC seats! But to be honest I am not willing to spend another 15K just to reset my 25K miles to 0 and add AC seats.

2012 AWD Tech with 25k miles, you are probably going to get $30k trade in value towards a new car, maybe a little more. I wouldn't expect to see a 2014 Advance AWD for less than $40k. You would be paying $10,000 for AC seats and a few less miles. In my mind, that is about the worse possible decision you could make. You are far better off getting a completely different car which should allow you to be a little more justified in dumping several thousand dollars on.

LOL they offered me without 25K for the car then they came back at 27K for trade in. The car MSRP'ed for 46.6K and dropped it a bit, if the delta was only 10K I would probably do it but not for more than that! I am just trying to get an idea of what someone has purchased one for?

I might look at other cars if that is the case...But I love the AWD, it would have to be comparable!

Thanks~

Damn... these dealers are making pretty good margin on used cars if they are taking trade ins at that price. You will probably see a 2012 SH-AWD Tech on their lot for $32k at least.

Of course! 5-6K markup from cost is the norm. That's how it is everywhere.

Rodtl, I paid 38xxx for my 2012 TL with Advance package back in August 2011. That was out the door price for me. Sticker was almost 43k. It was between the Tech and Advance models but I wanted 18in wheels on mine. AC seats are very nice and blind spot is a plus. I went from one dealership to another and that's how I got the price.
