I know it's not glass, but not sure what else to call it. I have some markings on the inside of the cover to the GPA display, and I would like to remove it to clean it. I'm not sure if that could pop out by its lonesome, or if there's more to remove it. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

 

looks like once you get the assembly out the screen can come apart from the plastic:
