The only people who will even know they made a change are people who own one or are serious car junkies like me. And even at that, I'll probably have to scratch my head when I see one and try to remember which is which.
For the record, I think it is slightly better looking, but it's not going to make people suddenly flock to the car. Now waiting for a leak of the front view.

These are my observations/opinions
I never considered replacing my 07 TL with the 09-10 model simply because the way it looked just wasn't for me.
That sneak peek already looks vastly better; the massiveness of the original rear-end being gone really helps a lot.
Wonder if this will make the tail lights look less slant eyed and more porportional to the size of the rear?
The cutouts for the exhaust also look better...I always thought those squareish cutouts were awful.
From the little I can see in this photo, I don't see it being bland at all...but then again, I thought the other style was over the top!
For those upset about loosing the quad tips; I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to add them later.
I can't wait to see one up close and personal

I am hoping the sneek peak is not a sign that the quad tips of the SH-AWD are gone?
Something keeps telling me Acura just does not get it and I am wondering where they are doing their market research. I was hoping to maybe look at a 12 AWD in 6 weeks, but we'll see what tomorrow brings...

I can't help chuckle this morning at the irony to this thread. Several people have criticized me for my comments about the TL's front end being ugly and acting like I'm not allowed to have an opinion. But now some of ya'll are crying like 2 year olds who have had their blanket taken away from them because you don't like what you are seeing in the 2012. Classic!

Yup, I am watching VW right now. It seems like they are publishing the pics/info during the conferences or just immediately after on sites like autoblog etc. (with the camaro ZL1 and genesis r spec)

OK just saw it unveiled, first reaction is front reminds me of a Camray or Mazda 6, Side Profile screams Mazda. They took Keen Edge Dsigining and impleented Keen ROUNDED Design!
That said I like it and will wait to see it in person to decide, the R-Spec Genesis looks cool too!

Well, it looks I'll be ordering a 6MT 2012 TL this spring! 
And wow at FE ratings 20/29 for a 3950 something pounds sedan? AWD will likely get 19/28 or something...
