New TL Purchase

I currently drive a 2007 bmw 328xi that the lease is coming up in a few months. In speaking with the dealer out here I can get a TL TEch for 34,500 plus t&L. This seems to be a very good price.

My question has to do with any potential incentives or deals after 5/1? Should I pull the trigger now or wait? I am not in a huge rush but love the car and even though I will get hit for a few more lease payments, this deal seems very good.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Jim

TL TECH AWD or FWD? That's actually a decent deal for a FWD, but if it's for the AWD, SNATCH IT NOW!

agreed. welcome jim! the price seems right! it doesn't hurt to wait, and makes friends with the dealer. you'll notice a few more incentives as you wait longer, and "shop" longer...it's a long and steady process, but its well worthwhile. good price for fwd and an even BETTER (unbelievably) price for an awd tl!

Since you are coming from a 328xi, I would recommend pushing for the TL SH-AWD TECH. Find a dealership that will deal and walk away from the ones that tell you they won't go below MSRP for the SH-AWD. Like it as been stated in many places, now is a good time to buy a car. I think 37k is definitely possible for the SH-AWD TECH. That is only 2500 away from the 34,500 you are considering for the FWD. If I had bought the FWD, I would have a lot of buyer's remorse that I should've gone for the AWD. It is such a pleasure to drive and the extra 'goodies' you get with the SH-AWD are definitely worth the extra money and will no doubt be a huge factor when it comes time to sell or trade it in. Hope this helps. Good luck and read the thread of the new 4g owners sign in to see what some have paid recently. :-)
