Of course, of course. As long as I can get that flushed look, then it's all hawt.

I'd love to see you come out with the Inspyre wheel but with a nice stainless lip

check it:

Are the spokes going to stay straight () or are you going to twist them ()?

Sorry, I need to move on and offer a little variety, besides, wheels with lips are a little more troublesome for a few different reasons, at least we can get BBK clearance and keep the wheel style larger than it looks with the straight spoke style.

No more twist, it was a little too busy, here's what I got and what I sent back to my engineers. very subtle changes, but the adjustments give the wheel more dynamic shape, and the removal of the twists allow for the face to be machined later on down the line..

Looking from that angle, is it just me or the new TL kind of looks a lot like the previous gen nissan maxima?

I don't see any resemblence. There is nothing out there that looks anything close to the new TL.

Thats an insult to the TL! Maximas are all ugly except for the new one. The new max is decent looking but ill still take a 4g over it anyday.

rondie,

best wheels yet! audi-ish. these things are so agressive that they could even belong on an exotic sportscar.

side note: the most bothering part of the TL, for me, is where the rear door seam cuts across the window trim. it looks so unorganized. cant stop staring at it.

^ Thanks, I needed to give this new wheel a simple shape but with unique characteristics. And I agree with you, I counted 4 pieces of glass, thats the area that I think reminds people of the GS and Maxima. Good thing about the 3G was the profile, very BMWish. Either way, I think this car has in person value, meaning that when dropped, and rimmed up, in person, it will look amazing.

I've got some reading glasses you can borrow if you'd like to compare the TL and the Maxima more closely....it looks like you need them.

By the way, Rondy...great looking wheel.

Ron, I was curious what the proposed Ronjon grille, kit, and wheels looked like on one vehicle...hope you don't mind I took the liberty to combine them together (I added a lip spoiler for my own tastes)...

Ron, are these going to come in flat as well as concave offsets? It looks like the 3D renderings are of the larger offset (flat)...

nice render, i got to get my hands on this car and see what i need to do to get these parts made.

As for the spokes, all will be flat right now. The concave will have to come if the wheel proves to be VERY popular. Its really about Caliper clearance.

These Sentinels are definitely hot but I think im gonna have to stick with the Inspyres for my 3G. I think the Sentinels are better for just the 4G.

BTW that chop of the 4G is amazing...

First wheel no good. second better. the hump over the front wheels on the body just ruins the New TL.

Thanks, God knows I had a few decisions to make in potentially hard times come February.

Right, that was one of the factors I considered when choosing to go with a lipless design.

Dragonlord, no updates right now, I am waiting on the plaster mold sample to completely approve the offsets and specs.

The green house profile is similar. You could say that it's a combo of the GS350 and Maxima.

Well, we're gonna test fit and shoot the samples on the TL when they arrive, but you can definetly showcase them if you like. Nows your chance to upgrade to 19" or 20".

Right now, yeah, but I have to weigh in the pre-order requests and see the prototype sample wheel finishes in front of me before I decide for good. I want to really make 2 finishes, one light and one dark. Either way, we do have the custom finishing option available for those who want take exclusivity even further.

Ever thinking about making the rims off some of the concept TLs? I know that the rims below were popular on the forum and have a clean OEM look to them:
