Never able to do this with a car before.
Not that its a big deal. I was just impressed that I was able to capture it along with the fact that I still have the car. (Usually trade them by 100k)
Damn thing still drives like it did when I bought it off-lease.
Little something for all those worried about miles. I'm going to try and get to 200K.

You should make it to 200k without a hiccup in yur Acura. Eventhough honda has put forth iffy transmissions, the know how to build a solid motor for sure.
In fact I became part of the honda family after owning a 4 cylinder Honda where three of the cylinders were bad hardly any compresion. I was virtually driving a lawnmower. The car would downshift to first and struggle up hills but i put 30000 miles on that vehicle and i just wouldnt die. I figure if a honda wont die after running under those circumstances, imagine having a honda in good condition.
My acura proved just that.

Belt looked perfect. Tensioner was starting to leak a bit.
Cool neat thing I've never seen before. Front pads changed at 120K... they were the factory pads. 120,000 miles on Factory pads. I drive between Chicago and Milwaukee 50/50 city to highway miles.

So King Motorsports Unlimited in New Berlin was under $800.
Acura of Brookfield (Milwaukee) was $1080.00 out the door. With the tensioner. (Change the tensioner even if its not leaking.) I chose the dealership because I would get a car to use for the day it to do the work. And so I could have piece of mind. Not to say that anything King does is bad. I just wanted the Dealer... Acura behind the repair.
Call Brookfield. Ask for Colin in service.

The key word is Chicago. Local Chicago prices are retarded. Im lucky to live in both Chicagoland and Milwaukee. I just took the car up there.
