Currently averaging 9.8L/100km (approx. 24mpg) with 90% highway driving in sub-zero (Celsius) temps on new Continental winter tires. Shell 91 octane gas.

Depends if it's fwd or sh-awd.

18 mpg is exactly what the sh-awd is rated for city. It's also exactly what I'm getting too.

~16.2 mpg as displayed on the readout. About 80% city. Would really help my pockets if I could get 2-4 more mpgs.

23mpg

23MPG is what the readout tells me, pretty consistently. That's about 50% metro freeway, and 50% metro stop & go.

I have made many long distance highway trips at 29mph, and a few at 30mpg.

My 2012 FWD with 93 Octane gas, gives around 23 mpg in winter and around 25 mpg in warmer weather, here is New England area. My drive is typically 75% town back roads + 25% Freeways.
Good mpg is one reason I prefer FWD cars, even though I live in New England area.

LOL, New Hampshire reporting in here..., I would say, folks who live around here who claim to "...need AWD because they live in New England", don't know how to drive.

Totally agreed.. I too think 4WD is overrated .t's good driving habits that matter most while driving in winter.
I have never had a 4WD/AWD car in 20+ living in New England area and couple years in MN.

Just did 169 freeway miles, filled up immediately before. Meter read 30.2 when I got home.

2012 TL SHAWD 6MT - Avg 17.4 MPG

I have a short commute that is 100% city/town driving including dropping my daughter off at elem school and idling in the drop-off lane for a period. I have heavy MDX 19" wheels, Ktuner Tune1 and I am not very easy on the go pedal when moving... love that XLR8 sound! I love having a short commute, but it is murder on the MPG's... my 04 Civic Si only gets about 22 MPG's for comparison.

That is better than my 6MT. I'm getting between 15-16 mpg on 18" wheels with no tune in the city. I have a heavy foot most of the time.
