Misfire

Hey guys, I have a misfire on cylinder 6, looking to troubleshoot it by first moving the coil to another cylinder to see if the problem follows, if so I will replace the coil.

However I am having an issue getting the coil wires shroud/cover off so that I can work on the coils (don't really know the name, if someone could let me know what its actually called, annotated image below).

I have been able to undo the two clips on the top and slid the "shroud" off however I am still unable to actually open it and remove it.

You should be able to undo the two clips and then slide the gray plastic up off of the metal bracket and out of the way. It doesn't need to be fully removed to swap a coil.

If you swap coils and the misfire stays in #6, try swapping spark plugs.

Let us know your results.

If the issue does not follow the coil or the plug, I assume you are up to date on your valve clearances? If not, I had a J35 in a V6 Accord that began to misfire at cold due to valves being out of spec. Worth checking out as another option.
