Hello comrades!
I am a very happy owner of Acura TL sh-awd 2009! I bought this car about a month ago. Today I was driving home and pretty lady (I hope) sad "Check engine oil level...bla-bla-bla...stop the engine....oil pressure....if engine oil level is normal, visit your dealer..."
I stoped the engine and checked oil level, it was in mid position (normal I think). Do I have to listen carefully to this woman or just shake my head like I do with my wife when she say things that are not important? May be someone had this problem and can help me with advice? Thanks in advance.
P.S. I'm from Belarus and there is no Acura dealer here, because we lost somewhere between USA and Japan.

 

Your issue is likely the engine oil pressure switch, per TSB 09-012 - MID or Navi Shows a Check Engine Oil Level Message, Low Oil Pressure Indicator May Be On.

For good measure, you may also want to check your oil.
