So I'm picking up a 2010 CBP SH-AWD TL 6MT tomorrow. Tinted all around.

I've already ordered the RJ A grille and am picking that up on Saturday. So I need to get it painted and I remember seeing a pic of a black A grille with the bar painted black also opposed to silver. But now I can't find that pic. I've searched all the RJ threads to no avail.

Does anyone have a pic of the RJ A grille painted the same colour as the rest of the grille ?

One more thing. RJ will include a black plate. This is to go behind the emblem to cover any screws. My body shop did not know what it was and tossed it. Make sure you let them know.

well after going back and forth for a while, I've decided I'm gonna paint the bar also. Although I like how the silver pops out from the grille, RPD's photos convinced me that the stealth look is best.

I can't wait to see that. Depending on how that looks, early next year I'll paint the Grille Bar, fog lights and rear trim. I kinda like the look now but may want a change.

 

So I picked up the car today and love it !!!!

I ordered the A grille from ronjon and am flying to L.A. tomorrow to pick it up. Hopefully I can have it installed by next week.

I'm gonna go black on black.
