Light cover for rear trunk

Are there instructions to remove the cover for the light in the trunk. I am going to replace the bulb for it and I tried Google already. I looked at the cover quickly but I don't want to break it.

I ordered this last week.

Lumen® - Acura TL 2009-2014 Trunk/Cargo Area Light LED Bulbs

I will upload some pictures (before/after).

THANKS!

Just look at the light. You don't need instructions; I can't remember in detail how I did mine, but I remember it was apparent from just looking at the light.

I think the 4G light is similar to the 3G light. I would use a dull dinner knife to pop the tab holding the cover on. The knife works much better than a flat blade screw driver popping the cover off. You should be able to see the plastic retaining clip with the light on and that's where you insert the knife in to engage the clip.

Once you pop the cover off, you can engage the trunk latch to turn off the dome light so you can skip burning your hands, a blowing a fuse, etc.

Thanks for the tip.

I just pulled the cover off with my fingers. It was easy. The trick is to hold the grey housing before pulling the bulb out or it will pull the housing from the steel frame of the car. It's not a big deal cause you can snap it back in place.

I bought the 20 lumen bulb and it covers the entire truck nicely and it is a little brighter than stock. It's a nice white. I would get the 70 lumen one the next time. It's a solid upgrade for under $10.
