I have a 2012 base and it looks ridiculous without the deck lid IMO. I have heard that the tech deck spoiler is a little bigger and it has the camera as well which I really need (mainly for the wifey). Does anyone know if the tech deck lid will fit the base TL trunk? Also, will the pre-2012 model fit the 2012? Lastly, it seems virtually impossible to find the tech deck lid at dealer. Beside the fleabay, any other suggestions?

there is a different between the base and tech trunk lid???
If you get tech trunk lid with camera, can you hook the camera up to the base model info screen?
I just got a new TL and it doesnt have trunk lid either.

 

if you have the base tl, Acura sells a deck lid spoiler without the camera, the tech package is were you get the rear back up camera

 

no you can't hook it to the info screen as backup camera. there are plently of aftermarket rear-mirrors with backup camera that you can hook it up to.

 

You have to get the trunk lid spoiler. It makes a huge difference.

You guys were right. I just realize it now, without the trunk lid the TL looks like half naked..it looks a little different..
