I put the ebay link under the picture (kinda hidden). If I'd noticed that there are lights under the front doors as well BEFORE I ordered...lol (probably the same bulb, I'm going to check) - I'd of ordered another set.
Fast shipping too. Ordered Sunday - had Tues or Wed.

Damn! Didn't even know there lights under the front door! I had to run down to the garage to check it out.
Now, are these bulbs "plug and play"? And I assume I would need three sets if I want to do the license plate and two doors?
Price is good!

4 total bulbs - 1 in each door and 2 for the plate. If they don't light after installation then just put them in the other way. I did not get these exact ones but similar. Note that the door ones go in sideways so the light will not shine down like the plate bulbs. I found other LEDS that had lights all around so they would shine on the ground under the doors. Also, the trunk and visor bulbs are totally different from plate/door bulbs. I will try to post the links for the three types of bulbs I bought to cover all 4 areas.

The visor lights have got to go. There are so many nice things on this car, and then they totally cheap out on the little appointments. Seems like theres a light in the center console too, maybe? Too late to run down and look.
Fog lights are 3 screws and a push-clip away, disconnect and twist. Has anyone found a Plug-n-Play foglight kit that fits well, where the bulbs twist in, and the ballast plugs right into the factory light connector? HID fogs would be sweet.
I also want to change the running lights to something brighter...maybe a blue/white color. Possible HID bulb change to some 8ks too. I'm guessing these are 6k bulbs factory.

the stock HIDS are 4300K. I put in 5150K Luminics fog bulbs and DRL/High Beam bulbs. They match really well to the stock HIDS. when the HIDS are on with the fogs it looks amazing and bright. the DRL's have a nice bright white look too. nicer than the yellow looking halogens.

Could you please post some pics?

I've not had any problems with these - I had reliability issues on my CL with the bubble type LED pods where there are 8 or 9 of those big bubble LEDs in like a honeycomb - they burned out really quickly and tripped the light warning thing.
I'm going to order two more of those for the doors - and if I can figure out how the interior light pods come apart without scarring or breaking them, see what kind of bulbs they take (suspect they're the same wedge bulb) and maybe replace them too.

Small update for those who want a seller on the east coast at $6 shipped, check this seller out:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=180508127575
Its the same lexen brand 5 SMD light.
Psuedomaniac, did you end up using these same LEDs for the door? Did you ever take pics?
Takehold, Do you have any pics of your front light setup(luminics)?

You need to remove the tailights to get to the bulbs. Pull back the lining in the trunk and there are 3 8mm nuts holding the lights in place. remove the nuts and pull the tail light out. Then change the bulb as needed.
the tops ones are better for under the front doors because they go in sideways and those bulbs have lights that would shine down to the ground - the bottom set is perfect for the license plate because they go in and face down when installed and the lights on them point down. get both and do the doors and plates - 1 in each door and 1 on each side of the plate - 2 of each total

Any of the bulbs over the years I've bought that have the little plastic cup with the wire folded over like that have been junk. I've had much better luck with longevity / quality with the ones that are all on the circuitboard wafer.
Use a flat tip screwdriver and pry from the front side of the door and it will pop out. then disconnect the wiring harness so you can work with the light housing away from the car. The housing is black and gray and I popped off the gray part so I could change the bulb and then I snapped the gray part back on and reconnected the harness and then reinstalled the housing into the door. be careful removing the gray portion - if you wiggle it and pry gently it will come off - the other way to do it if you have any trouble removing the gray is to pry out the lens only and change the bulb from there - you will see the tabs of the lens when you have the housing out. it is really easy after you do the first one - I just ran out and did it quick so I could describe it - took 20 seconds - but then again I have done it a few times while trying different bulbs -
no problem - FYI - when you install the bulb it may not work when you plug in the harness - if it does not light, just pull it out and turn it around and it will work. plug in the harness to test it before you snap on the gray part or reinstall the lens.
here is a link to the visor lights I bought - no pictures but these are nice and you can get them in xenon white or blue - you need 2 pairs - http://store.ijdmtoy.com/ProductDeta...%5FD29%5FSKU20
