Hello....I have a 2012 TL w/tech package. I have been searching around and I believe I know the answer but wanted to ask the forum. The turn signal lane change where you tap the turn signal stem and it blinks like 3 times and quits. I was at the Acura dealer this past Saturday and he said the 2012 did not have this feature. I told them I just couldn't believe that Acura did not have this!!! I drove my sons 2007 GMC Yukon the other day and it had it, a 2007 American built vehicle. I can't believe that Acura has not put out a software update to address this which I believe could be handled this way. I guess this is more of a statement than a question but I am really disappointed in Acura missing this option which I think should have been easily been addressed even prior to my 2012 TL.

it's not software though.. it's hardware, that involves a hardware relay to accomplish that.

I was surprised when I realized my 2012 TL didn't have it either back in 2012 when I bought it. My in-laws 2009 Cobalt has this feature. I think Chevrolet has it on just about every vehicle they produce, it's a nice little feature but not that big of a deal.

Thanks for the responses. My thinking was that maybe if it was a software fix that someone had this done and would respond. I was thinking software since the turn signal stem already has a relay but what is needed is for it to be programmed to recognize just a tap of the stem compared to being fully engaged. It just blows my mind that Acura let this slip bye................

My 2015 TLX has this feature, my 2010 TL does not. If it really bothers you just don't use your blinker...lol.

I had a loaner 2016 rdx the other day, it had this feature, it's neat but not big of a deal for me

Newer acura's have this feature but older ones such as ours do not. The actual switch needs to be replaced to allow for the bump for 3 blinks or the actual switch that blinks until you are done turning.

You could always buy a module that'll do the 3 blinks when you tap the blinker stalk. IMO not worth it to me to spend 50+ dollars on this

The I8 I drove had this feature but it's a one tap down and stays on until you turn. It was a nice feature but not a necessity. My wife has the 2016 RDX advance and I don't notice it. Maybe because I treat it like a normal signal...
