Just did my oil change on my TL 2012 elite 3.7 was shocked to find very little oil
Just did my oil change myself for the first time on my newly acquired TL Sh-Awd 2012 after my 08 type s went bust great car heavy on the gas consumption but I knew that coming in. Was worried I'd have the oil burning issue as well early on when I noticed the oil life drastically go down the first month I had it. It's no spring chicken but 170km doesn't seem like it should be burning that much took it to the dealership they said I should wait to see if it settles. It did seem to even out but lately this month every time I seem to make a hard turn the check engine oil sign keeps popping up. So I figured I better do an oil change myself to see what's what it's at 40% oil life so I figured it shouldn't be that bad boy was I wrong. I started the drain of the old oil and was shocked when it was over with so soon like not even five minutes and that so little oil poured out I check the dipstick it was bone dry so I wasn't going crazy I panicked thinking I was crazy so I waited 30mins ..... And nothing else came out. I'm wondering if that is grounds for oil consumption check it.

My 2012 did the same thing at around 160k km. Took Acura 9 months to get the parts to rebuild my engine, by that time the car had 193k on it. 220k now and the new engine is going strong and doesn't burn any oil. Keep topping it up because you are unfortunately past the 8 year/200k extended warranty for the oil consumption issue.

Oil LIFE isn't oil level. Oil life is just the car's way of measuring how much usage the oil still has left in it. Its based on time, mileage, a type of use.
Now that you've done the oil change, just monitor the level every 1K or so.
If its not burning oil, then do nothing.
If its burning oil, then add oil every now and then or go for a warranty repair or buy a longblock or do the rings.
Change the oil when the oil life gets to like 15%.
You could also (and this is just a suggestion) use punctuation when you type. That may help with oil consumption too.
