Invoice for SH-AWD with Tech Package?

Looks like Edmunds.com doesn't have this info yet. Does anyone know in advance what invoice would be for the SH-AWD with Tech Package?

Probably won't be known until the first cars hit dealers next week (here in Chicago).

Not bad... now the AWD with Tech looks more affordable. What about dealer hold backs or marketing incentives from Acura? Does anyone have any info on this? Might be able to get the car for a bit cheaper...

Well with the credit crisis going on, it's hard to get good rates on a lease even for the base TL.....I would imagine it would be that much tougher to negotiate a good deal for something as limited in number as the AWD version. My local dealer has told me that for every 10 base TL's they get, they'll be lucky to get just 2 or 3 AWD's.

TL Incentives

Currently, there are no incentives on 09 TLs. Holdback is just a little higher than on 08 TLs, but no one's giving that up. Based on how Acura has held out on giving the TSX incentives, I'd say we should get our hopes up for any on the TL until next Summer.

You can PM me for any questions, I handle the internet department at a SoCal dealer.

There were guys on here getting up to 3k off the price due to the high inventory at some dealerships. Do you think there is a higher chance of cash back incentives or low APR's like the rest of the Acuras?

I doubt it. But I have been surprised. Especially when this month's incentives came around. I don't think acura will consider dealer cash until the 2010's are around the corner(09 tx and tl), but obviously, low rates are not out of the question. I think a lease special is more likely on the 09 TL sooner than later.

I'd like to add that Acura is being very careful about supply at the moment, so I wouldn't expect a huge overflow of 09 models.

I just got an email from a dealer here in Florida:

"Dear Joe,

Acura has just announced a new leasing program for the all-new 2009 TL, just in time for the Holidays:

With your good credit and just $1,999.00 cash due at signing, your monthly payment is going to be $399.00*. This is a limited time offer, so if you're close to making that all important decision, now's the time to take advantage with this aggressive lease program.

I am looking forward to hearing from you......"

....and that's probably $399/mo PLUS TAXES and the $1999.00 probably doesn't include other fees such as freight, pdi, 1st months payment, gas tax, air tax, etc.

I am assuming that $399 per month plus tax, etc. is only for the base model without the
tech package as well.
Good luck

09 TL Lease

Here is direct from Acura.com

Got emails about this from 2 diffierent dealers in my area.

Too bad I'm really looking for an RDX.

"FEATURED SPECIAL LEASE: Closed-end lease for 2009 TL Automatic Transmission (Model UA8629JW) for $399.00 per month for 36 months with a $1,005.00 capitalized cost reduction available to customers who qualify for the AHFC Super Preferred credit tier. Other rates/tiers are available under this offer. $1,999.00 total due at lease signing (includes first month's payment with no security deposit, AHFC upfront acquisition fee and capitalized cost reduction; total net capitalized cost and base monthly payment does not include tax, license, title, registration, documentation fees, options, insurance and the like). Not all buyers may qualify.

Subject to limited availability. 12/9/2008 through 1/5/2009, to approved lessees by American Honda Finance Corp. Closed end lease for 2009 TL Automatic Transmission vehicles (Model UA8629JW), for well qualified lessees. Not all lessees will qualify. Higher lease rates apply for lessees with lower credit ratings. MSRP $35,715.00 (includes destination) less the capitalized cost reduction (which may be paid by the suggested dealer contribution) resulting in actual net capitalized cost $33,552.76. Dealer contribution may vary and could affect actual lease payment. Taxes, license, title fees, options and insurance extra. Total monthly payments $14,364.00. Option to purchase at lease end $23,214.75. Lessee responsible for maintenance, excessive wear/tear and 15 cents/mi. over 10,000 miles/year for vehicles with MSRP less than $30,000, but for vehicles with MSRP of $30,000 or more, mileage cost is 20 cents/mi. over 10,000 miles/year. See dealer for complete details."

10k miles also. That's the same lease they've been offering since October. it's standard stuff and no deal.

I agree with some others, don't expect any real deals on these cars. Honda did NOT get caught with their pants down. Supply is in line with demand. They don't need to give them away. Of course, individual dealers can do what they want and you might catch a deal somewhere. However, Acura seems to be pressuring against that (so I'm told by some dealer friends)

Maybe in your area supply is keeping up with demand. At my local dealership they are sitting on 50 cars up from 25 a month ago. I don't think they have sold more then one or two since the TL went on sale.
